STORYWORLD & AUDIENCE EXPLORATION
Each BCP project starts with a two days workshop, where agile and transparent workflows are introduced, goals of the team and partners are defined and resources and expectations are aligned.
Within an open exploration, we analyze the idea/story/format globally. A first audience & story world chart is drafted. And we are moving towards the strategy. However, here we still ask questions like: What are the emotions, values and discourses the project relates to? What directions could/should it take? What is the timeplan?
The results of the workshop are entered into the first strategy paper by the Audience Design consultants. From this moment on, the storyworld and audience exploration can be used to inspire the strategy.
Both concepts of storyworld and audience are updated continuously by the core project team and can be used – depending on each project phase – for brainstorm, strategic development and project presentations alike.
The work is in a flow and the strategy is realised. The different elements of the storyworld engage different audiences. While being implemented, we are constantly evaluating. Within agile workflows, the team and its partners collaborate and communicate on the same eye level.
Within a production culture that respects each professional involved and is open for the negotiation of hierarchies, the project can become more than the sum of its parts.
